For #drugtestweek this year, Action Family Counseling is offering free drug testing services to our communities.

The 20th of April is a special day for many people. The day is glorified and much anticipated by many as they get together to smoke marijuana. In San Francisco last year, so many gathered to smoke together at a place known as Hippy Hill, that a news helicopter flew over to capture the event.

Both adults and youth encourage their friends to join them in the festivities. Among the friend groups that partake are often times individuals who have never smoked marijuana before. They may make the decision to try smoking for the first time on this day due to the glorification and wide spread participation from one’s peers.

Among those who smoke marijuana regularly, I would say that at least 8 out of 10 of them are going to get excited for this event, and smoke marijuana on this day. So for parents who want to know if their kid is smoking marijuana, a random drug test in the days that follow the 20th of April would be a great place to start.

Action Family Counseling will be providing our community with free drug testing from April 20th until the 1st of May 2017. Drug tests will be performed at our intensive outpatient treatment centers in Santa Clarita, Simi Valley, Pasadena, and Bakersfield. Each family can have one instant drug test performed for by our team for free.

By following the link below you’ll find google maps to each one of our outpatient addiction treatment centers. We’ll perform one instant drug test per family at any one of our 4 outpatient treatment centers in Los Angeles, Ventura, and Kern County.

Please call ahead to schedule the cost free drug testing service at (800) 367-8336. Our Admission’s Team will make sure that somebody is ready for you and your family. We’ll be prepared to address any special circumstances that you may have.

Since 1997, Action Family Counseling has been helping people that struggle with addiction. Action’s programs have taught thousands of people who were addicted to drugs and alcohol how to live productive, and healthy, and happy lives without using drugs and alcohol.

We understand that many people who struggle from addiction also have co-occuring mental health obstacles to overcome. We are prepared and experienced in the treatment of both addiction and the mental health and behavioral obstacles that come along with it. Action has a youth inpatient rehab in Los Angles County, and also inpatient treatment centers for adults in Ventura County, and Kern County.

We are offering our community free drug testing in hopes that it encourages people to get their loved ones help, and to introduce those addicted to drugs and alcohol to the resources that they need to get help and better their lives.

Sincerely,

Action Family Counseling
