Cary runs an amazing company, and his amazing and caring staff saved my life, and treated every aspect of my disease, and included my family every step of the way. Special thanks to Bob S. I cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for me and my family. I have been sober over 5 years now thanks to everything I learned, and because of being introduced to recovery at Action. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Timothy W.

Cary Quashen and his team at Action saved my daughter’s life. They taught us coping skills, and as a result restored peace in our family. Cary is a guardian angel. He always answered his cell phone on the first ring when we were in need of support. The experienced and passionate people at Action know how to get through to difficult teens. They are truly modern day heroes.

Kim S.

Very few organizations in Santa Clarita make as much of an impact as Action. While every company can get better in some areas, where it matters most Mr. Quashon scores the highest grades available. I am proud to support him and Action. Keep up the good work.

Arif H.

This is the best duel diagnosis program in Southern California, I had my child in 12 different programs, including UCLA, it wasn’t until I found Action that we got a correct diagnosis and treatment. That was over 23 years ago., than in 2009 they saved my granddaughter, the same way they saved her mom. They are the only program i found that actually cares about their clients and loves therm. To this day we all stay in touch with Cary Quashen, the founder, on a regular basis and are part of the Action Family. I do not believe both my daughter and granddaughter would be alive today if it had not been for Cary, in fact he actually saved my daughter’s life. Run don’t walk to this great organization, I will forever be grateful for this program and it’s dedicated staff.

I spent 43 days (06/26 – 08/07/21) at Actions Piru facility. I was being treated for prescription drug dependency. I cannot think of or say anything negative about my experience there. All the people, the living conditions, the food provided were all excellent. The sobriety education program presented to us each day was informative. All of my sobriety brothers and sisters shared our experiences with each other. It taught us all how to stay sober. I would not hesitate to recommend Action/Cary Quashen to anyone who is in need of help. Cary provided me with and opportunity to get sober, and I am eternally grateful to him for it.

Ken S.

I have been attending the Outpatient Rehab and am so grateful for the program, staff and owner. I was a mess when I entered this program, I am still in treatment now. The employees treat the patients like family doing anything they can to help. I am Sober and feel confident I will stay that way! As a courtesy, this facility provides breakfast, lunch, coffee and water. Many people entering the program are not eating right, or well, so the meals are much appreciated. I’ve made a few friends in this Rehab, this is Not easy for me. The love and support has been amazing and I have no doubt will contribute to my success in remaining sober.

Kimberly M.

As a parent of a young adult struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues it can be a dark lonely journey. I reached out to Cary after a recommendation from a therapist. Cary walked us through exactly how to get our son to see his need for help and the steps to take towards sobriety. Cary is a man of ACTION! He returned txts and calls immediately and assisted our family with every question and need. Cary and his ACTION program has been a turning point for our son. We are so very grateful!

Chig C.

At 25 years old, I’m a long time addict of 10 years. 10 years of abusing every last drug, this last 4 years of my addiction has been souly been about heroin and fentnayl. Action has changed me and my understanding about not only my addiction about about everyone else’s especially those around me and how are addictions affect not just us but those around us who love us. If it wasn’t for Action I wouldn’t have this knowledge but more importantly I would be DEAD. The staff here is AMAZING they’re so extreme and very personal and loving and caring and for me it hasn’t just been the program it’s been 100-100 not just 50-50, 100-100 the program and the staff are everything this place is built around and together they’ve both changed my life, my thinking, my knowledge and every last aspect about drugs and alcohol. Man, don’t get me started on the chef lol. The FOOD here is better then restaurant quality. We are spoiled with 3 chef cooked meals a day.. breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would recommend this place to anybody searching for help and I do recommend it to every last person I know struggling with addiction today and I have alot of friends that are still out there suffering. Just waiting for them to make that choice. I’m thankful for Action, I’m thankful for the staff, and most of all I’m thankful for my sobriety which would have not been possible without them.

Steven P.

I am alive today because of Cary Q and his empirically talented, devoted staff. For the first time in my life, I came to know the truest feeling of being loved for the simple fact of being me. Without question, each and every staff member works here from their heart, loves and worries and fights for our sobriety. This tireless determination does not end upon discharge, they are with you for the long haul. Clients from all walks of life harmonize, share and heal – regardless of perceived status, educational background or economics.

There is no question as to the life affirming, life saving work that these folks do. I also want to give major consideration to their team of Psychiatrists, one of whom was able to put my brain chemically straight after 25 years of abuse. Undoubtedly, Action Family Counseling is in it for the love of the client. Today, I am a changed woman of integrity and have this excellent team to credit.

Tandy H.

April 23, 2018; Cary found me in hospital care and offered me a way out. I chose to show up, and I chose to take it. Without his guidance, unconditional love, and investment in the woman I was to become, I’m certain I would not be here today.

4/23/22 I celebrated 4yrs of consistent, consecutive, and honest recovery. No matter where my life’s takes me (because I have a life today), no matter where I may find myself on this planet; I will always take my annual cake, the Thursday following 4/23, at Action- showing our newcomers the magic of recovery, the unconditional love that Cary feels for all those suffering, and to be a soldier for God, carrying the message that he (and Cary) always knew I was meant to be.

Ty Cary and Action. Forever Grateful

Maegan R.
